If you are a Photoshop beginner and you've never worked with shapes, in this tutorial I will show you how to create a triangle in Photoshop.

What is a Triangle?

A triangle is a plane figure with three straight sides and three angles.

A triangle is the polygon with the least possible number of sides (3 sides). It is one of the basic shapes in geometry. The three angles of a triangle always add up to 180 degrees.

Types of Triangles

There are 6 main types of triangles, classified by sides and angles:

• Equilateral Triangle has 3 equal sides
• Isosceles Triangle has 2 equal sides
• Scalene Triangle has no equal sides
• Acute Triangle has 3 angles < 90 degrees
• Right Triangle has an angle = 90 degrees
• Obtuse Triangle has an angle > 90 degrees
